Description
This barn, located 90 meters northeast of Dairy Easton Farm Park, was built around 1870 for the Duke of Hamilton. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantiled roof with crest tiles. The barn is a single storey with attics and has a symmetrical main range with projecting gables at each end. There is a central cart entrance with boarded doors, flanked by one three-light window on each side. These windows have pointed arches filled with decorative herringbone brickwork. Each gable also has a three-light window with a shallow pointed brick arch and a pointed attic doorway, along with ornamental bargeboarding. There are external stairs on the left-hand gable. The roof includes a central timber ventilating turret topped with a weather vane. Attached to the right side of the barn is a loose box with an additional projecting gable.
