Description
Sundial Cottage, Moat End, adjacent cottage, and Pike Cottage form a terrace of cottages. They are built from whitewashed brick and topped with a plain tile roof. The buildings are single storey with an attic. The front facing the road features a pair of 19th-century plank doors on the right, another 19th-century plank door to the right of the center, and a stable door on the left. The ground floor includes five three-light windows, two two-light casements, and a single-light cross-window. In the attic, there are six two-light gabled dormer windows. The ridge has a single-flued gable stack on the right, two axial stacks with two flues each to the right and left of the center, and a single-flue stack on the left. Attached to the right is an arched gateway that connects to an extension of Pike Cottage, which is not included in this listing.
