Description
Valley Farmhouse at Annesons Corner is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. The eaves were raised and the roof was re-covered in the late 19th century, and there have been various extensions added to the rear. The building is timber framed and plastered, with painted brick on the left-hand gable end, and has a slated roof. It stands two storeys high with a long frontage featuring a five-window range that includes 2-light and 3-light casements from the 19th and 20th centuries. The doorway is asymmetrical and has a 20th-century flat-roofed porch with a glazed door. Inside, there is exposed timberwork, including some roll-moulded beams at the south end, which appear to have been imported.
