Description
Dovehouse Farmhouse is a 16th-century farmhouse that features a timber frame with roughcast render on the facade. The rear has a 19th-century white brick casing, while the right-hand gable is finished in red brick. The roof is covered with black pantiles and the building has two storeys. The main range is long and includes various casements and a boarded door, with an internal stack and an external stack located on the left-hand gable. There is a mid-19th-century wing on the right side, which is set forward and parallel to the main range. This wing is made of red brick and also has a pantile roof, with two storeys and one window range featuring tripartite sashes with glazing bars in flush frames and flat brick arches. The doorway in this wing has a six-panel door. Additional extensions are present on the left-hand side, which are also set forward.
