Description
The Old Rectory is a house that features a 15th-century front range, a 17th-century wing to the south, and a later extension to the north. It was modernized in the 19th century with significant additions at the rear. The earlier part of the building is timber-framed and plastered, topped with a plain tiled roof that includes some courses of fishscale tiles. The 18th and 19th-century additions are made of brick and rendered. The house is two stories tall, with the south wing also having two stories and an attic. It has a four-window range with modern three-light casements. The doorway is asymmetrical, featuring a modern four-panel door and a modern tiled hood, and there are three gables on the structure.
