Description

Moat Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with a timber-framed and plastered structure, topped with a pantiled roof. The building has an 'L' shaped plan, with the main range and the west wing both rising two storeys, while the west wing also includes an attic. The south elevation features a five-window range with three-light casements, one of which has leaded lights. There is a central doorway with a boarded door and a cornice above. The building includes 20th-century flush roof lights. The north elevation displays two to five-light diamond mullion windows. Additionally, there is a 20th-century brick lean-to extension on the west side and another extension under a catslide roof on the north side.
