Description
Former Piggott's Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed building with a plastered exterior and an old red tile roof. It consists of a single farmhouse range that remains intact. The structure is two and a half storeys high, featuring two windows on the west side and one and a half storeys with two windows on the east side. The west part has central doors on both the north and south elevations, each with flat hoods supported by brackets; the north door is framed by a reeded architrave. There is a gabled cross wing at the east end and two gabled dormers on the south elevation. The east part also has two gabled dormers on its south side. Former 18th-century sash windows have been boarded up. The farmhouse is set in a picturesque location among trees.
