Description

Cherry Tree Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building with a tiled roof that is hipped at both the east and west ends. It is approached by a farm road from Martens Lane and stands two storeys high. The facade features a three-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars on the ground floor and casements on the upper floor. A six-panel door with an open pediment adds to its character. The farmhouse has one ridge chimney stack and a tall external stack located at the east end. Inside, the building showcases exposed timber-framing.
