Description
Scotland Place is a timber-framed and plastered house dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, although it was significantly altered in the 18th century with the addition of blocks to the rear. The original section features a cross wing to the west, with a further addition built to the west of that wing. The house was renovated in the 20th century. It is two storeys high. The windows on the south front are predominantly leaded casements, and a tall window extends through two storeys at the west end. A doorway is present with pilasters and a cornice. The roofs are tiled, featuring a plaster eaves cornice and a 17th-century shafted chimney stack located at the west end.
