Description

Ridgeway Cottage is a late 18th century or early 19th century timber-framed and plastered house, with a brick front that has been colourwashed, located on Scotland Street in Stoke-by-Nayland. The cottage is one storey high with attics and features two windows, which are casements with 20th-century glazing bars. The west front includes a central doorway that is topped by a gabled tiled hood supported by brackets. The roof is thatched and has two dormers along with a central chimney stack.
