Description

Cherry Trees is a timber-framed and plastered house, likely dating back to the medieval period, originally designed as an open hall with a later inserted floor. The house has two storeys and attics, featuring a three-window range on the front with casement windows that include glazing bars. The east end has double-hung sash windows, also with glazing bars. On the front, there is an end of a needled tie beam, and the gables display exposed tie beams. The doorway is topped with a flat hood supported by brackets. The roof is thatched, featuring a central chimney stack and one dormer.
