Description
Scotland House is a timber-framed house dating from the 17th to 18th century, located on Scotland Street in Stoke-by-Nayland. It has been renovated and restored in the 20th century, with modern additions at the west end and at the rear. The building is partly two storeys and partly one storey with attics. The upper storey of the main block features exposed timber framing, and the windows are casements with leaded lights. A modern gabled porch extends from the front. The roofs are tiled, with end chimney stacks on the main block and one hipped dormer window on the west addition.
