Description
Brothers Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates mainly from the 16th century, with the north end possibly being older. It consists of a single range divided into three sections. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a pantiled roof, and stands two storeys high. There are various 19th and 20th-century casement windows, while the earliest part features original tall five-light diamond mullion windows on both the ground and first floors. The central section includes a boarded door and an internal stack. The roof of the southern section has lower eaves but maintains the same ridge height. Inside, the farmhouse showcases exposed timbering, original doors, and a newel staircase leading to the central section.
