CHURCH LANE 1. 5377 Nayland with Wissington Butts TL 9734 27/652 II GV

A large modern red brick house immediately south of the Church of St James, with a C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered wing at the west end extending north and south. On the north end the upper storey is jettied on carved brackets with the remains of moulded shafts and capitals.
