Description

Bures Mill is an 18th to 19th century timber-framed watermill that has undergone significant modern additions and alterations. The south end is partly weatherboarded, while the majority of the building is faced in corrugated asbestos. The original mill section at the south end features a mansard tiled roof. The south front of the mill has three storeys and attics, with the ground storey being weatherboarded. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, and the roof on the south side is covered in slate.
