Description

Bures House is an early to mid-19th century brick house located on Nayland Road in Bures St Mary. The building is colourwashed and stands two storeys high with a three-window range featuring double-hung sashes that include glazing bars and raised architraves. The windows on the ground storey are adorned with cornices. The house has end pilasters as well as pilasters between the window ranges. A central doorway, which is accessed by a flight of steps, has a cornice supported by brackets. The roof is hipped and covered with slate.
