Description

1 Nayland Road is an 18th-century brick house, which may have been refaced in the 18th century, and is currently covered with roughcast. The building has two storeys, featuring two windows on the ground floor and one window on the first floor. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in flush cased frames. The first-floor window extends to a half-dormer with a gabled roof. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door flanked by pilasters and topped with a cornice hood supported by console brackets. The roof is tiled and hipped at the north-west end.
