Description
Stebbing Mill is an 18th-century working watermill, producing animal feed. It is a timber-framed building clad in weatherboard, with a red plain tiled gambrel roof, half-hipped to the left. A gabled, weatherboarded hoist loft features arched timber brackets and a 3-light window with small panes. The mill has two storeys and an attic, with four iron windows, each containing small panes. Central board doors provide access to both the ground and first floors. The building’s structure includes 5 bays with hanging knees to the ground floor and arched braces to the first-floor tie beams. All original machinery is intact.
