Description

No. 1 Lady Street is a timber-framed and plastered building located next to the Guildhall on the south side. It was once internally connected to the Guildhall, which was built between 1520 and 1526, but this building has undergone significant alterations since then. The roof is tiled, and the structure has two storeys with a range of two windows featuring casements. A central doorway is accessed by a flight of steps from the pavement, which has iron handrails.
