Description

No. 2 Chapel Street is a building that may have originally been constructed in the 15th or 16th century, although it has undergone significant alterations, with only part of the original structure remaining. The building has been renovated and stands two storeys tall. It features a timber-framed and plastered upper storey that jetties out at the front, supported by exposed joists. The ground storey is built out of painted brick. There are two ranges of casement windows with leaded lights on the upper storey. The entrance includes a four-centred arched doorway with carved spandrels, leading to a modern door. The roof is tiled.
