Description

Nos 7, 9, and 11 Duke Street is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 16th to 17th century. Nos 7 and 9 have been combined into one tenement and the building stands two storeys high. It features a four-window range of casements, with the upper storey jettied at the front and a three-window range at the west end. The centre of the ground storey has an oriel bay. The roof is tiled and includes a central chimney stack with two shafts, one octagonal and one hexagonal, which is cement rendered.
