Description
The Rectory is an early 19th-century building made of gault brick, featuring a wing that extends to the north at the west end. The main façade has a one-to-three window arrangement of double-hung sashes with glazing bars, all set within stucco surrounds. The center window of the main block is slightly recessed. There is a six-panel double door framed by a stucco Greek Doric doorcase, which includes fluted columns in antis, a triglyph frieze, and a cornice. The ground floor windows are three-light. A raised band runs across the front of the building between the storeys. The side facing High Street has a three-window range, some of which are blocked, along with a six-panel door that features a fanlight and a cornice supported by console brackets. The roof is covered with slate.
