Description

The King's Head Inn is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building located on the east side of High Street in Bildeston. It features a gable front facing the street, with the west front being brick faced up to the exposed bressumer of the gable. The south front has a painted brick face on the ground storey. The windows are double-hung sashes that include vertical glazing bars. The ground storey showcases an 18th-century shop bow with glazing bars and a moulded cornice. The doorway is topped with a flat hood supported by brackets. The roof is tiled.
