Description

This is a timber-framed and plastered building of probable 16th-century origin, located on the east side of High Street, Bildeston. It was altered in the 18th century and later. The building comprises two storeys, with a cross wing at its southern end. The upper storey has a four-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The ground storey features a 18th-19th century square bay shop window and a modern shopfront. The roof is tiled.
