Description
The King's Head Inn and Barclays Bank is a timber-framed building, likely dating from the 16th century, but it has been significantly altered in the 18th and 19th centuries. The structure has two storeys and features a four-window range of casements on the upper storey, while the ground storey has double-hung sashes with glazing bars. At the south end, there are two six-panel doors topped with a pedimented hood supported by elaborately carved brackets. The north side has a doorway with a modillion cornice hood. The south doorway is flanked by paired windows. The roof is tiled.
