Description

5 and 7 Market Place is a 17th century timber-framed and plastered building that was refronted in the early 19th century using gault brick. The structure has two storeys and features a cross wing at the north end. It has a three-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars set in plain reveals. The central entrance consists of a 5-panel door that is framed by a doorcase with a semi-circular fanlight, plain Tuscan columns, and an open pediment. The roof is tiled.
