Description

No. 51 High Street is a medieval timber-framed building that has been restored on the outside. It features close studding with plaster infilling on the first floor. Originally, the building oversailed, but it has been underbuilt with a modern shop front that includes a tiled canopy above. The south-east gable is plastered and has an oriel window supported on brackets, which contains three diamond-shaped panes. The building has casement windows and consists of two storeys with an attic in the gable, and it has three windows overall.
