Description

Nos 68 and 70 on High Street are an L-shaped medieval timber-framed building of "wealden" type. It has been refaced, and the recessed center has been built out to be flush with the wings. The building is two storeys high and features three windows. Number 68 is stuccoed, while number 70 is tile-hung and painted. The front roof is covered with Horsham slabs, and the back is tiled. Number 68 has two bays on the ground floor, and number 70 has a modern shop front. Above, there are two casement windows and one horizontally-sliding window.
