Description

This is a timber-framed building, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier, situated on the north-east side of Steying High Street. The ground floor has been refronted with red brick, while the upper two storeys are clad in tiles. The roof is tiled. The building is unusually tall, rising to three storeys and featuring three windows. A doorway is distinguished by pilasters and a projecting cornice, with panelled reveals. Modern windows are present. At the north-west end of the first floor, a blocked original three-light window remains visible, retaining its wooden mullions.
