Description

39 High Street is a 17th century or earlier L-shaped timber-framed building with a long wing extending behind the street. The timber framing in this wing is exposed, featuring plaster infilling and curved braces, while the street-facing side has been refaced in early 19th century red brick. It has painted long and short quoins and a cornice, along with a brick parapet and a Horsham slab roof. The first floor has two small bays, and there is a carriage archway on the ground floor. A 19th century shop window is located to the southeast. The building has two storeys and two windows.
