Description

This is a timber-framed building, likely dating to the 17th century or earlier, which was refaced around 1830. It comprises two storeys and has a four-window front. The exterior is stuccoed, and the roof is covered in slate. The original glazing bars remain intact on the first floor. Modern shop fronts have been introduced. A chimney breast, faced with flints, is located at the south-east end and is visible from the passage through the ground floor of the adjacent property at number 44.
