Description

Lashmars is a timber-framed building dating from around 1500. Originally, it had a jettied front but was refaced with painted brick in the 18th century. The building features a stringcourse, cornice, and a panelled parapet, topped by a tiled roof. The glazing bars are missing. On the ground floor, there is a large modern bay and shop front. The doorway, located between the two sections of the building, is accessed by three steps and has a segmental fanlight, a projecting cornice, and a door with six fielded panels. Inside, there is a crown post roof.
