Description

The Cavalier is a medieval timber-framed building that was refaced with brick and painted in the 18th century. It has two storeys and features three windows, with the original glazing bars still intact on the first floor, while the ground floor has modern windows. The building has a tiled roof and a doorway that is accessed by five steps, which includes a handrail with pilasters and a projecting cornice. Inside, there is a crown post roof and a 17th-century staircase wing that contains an oak staircase.
