Description

Auld Reekie, formerly known as Jordans Cottage, is a 17th-century cottage located on the south side of Holbrook Lower Holbrook. It features a timber-framed and plastered structure with a thatched roof and a central red brick chimneystack. The cottage is one storey high with attics and includes a rear wing. It has two small paned horizontal sliding sash windows and a central boarded door. Inside, there is a back-to-back inglenook fireplace and stop-chamfered bridging joists.
