Description
East House at the Royal Hospital School is a house built around 1925 to 1933 by architects Buckland and Heywood. It features red brick in Flemish bond with hanging tiles on the first floor central band and has a hipped dark red plain tiled roof. There are external stacks on the left and right, with shaped stone offset brackets above the eaves on the left side. The building is two storeys high with a symmetrical facade that has three windows. The central door consists of six recessed panels and is sheltered by a flat canopy supported on brackets. On either side of the door are canted bay windows, with horned windows consisting of three panes by four panes, while the central window has two panes by four panes.
