Description

The war memorial in front of Berners Hall is a stone ashlar structure dating from around 1920. It is designed as a wayside cross, featuring a stepped octagonal plinth and shaft, topped with a cross that has circles in the angles. The memorial is positioned in front of the Village Hall, creating a cohesive group with that building.
