Description

40 and 42 Swan Street are a pair of red brick houses built in the mid-19th century. They have rusticated white brick quoins and window dressings. The houses are two storeys high, with a tiled roof and a ridge chimney stack. A raised white brick band runs across the front of the building, between the ground and first floors, and each floor has two sash windows. A modern entrance porch has been added.
