No. 47 Swan Street is a late 18th century or early 19th century timber-framed and plastered building that stands at right angles to the street, featuring a gabled front. The ground floor is faced in painted brick. The building has two storeys and includes one range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The roof is tiled and has a ridge chimney stack.
