Description

Wynne House is a timber-framed and plastered building, likely dating from the 16th to 17th centuries, although it underwent considerable alteration in the 18th century. The building features a cross wing at the south-east end. It has two storeys and a four-window front, with double-hung sash windows containing glazing bars. The cross wing is distinguished by tripartite windows. The entrance is marked by a six-panel door set within a wooden doorcase, which includes panelled pilasters and an open pediment with fretwork. The roof is tiled, with slate eaves. A tall chimney stack with two octagonal shafts is visible on the cross wing.
