Description

37 and 39 Swan Street is a timber-framed and plastered building featuring elements from the 18th and 19th centuries, and it may include parts of an earlier frame. The building has two storeys. The main section has a three-window arrangement of 18th-century casements without glazing bars on the upper floor. The ground floor features a small 19th-century splayed bay and double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. There is also a six-panel door with pilasters and a cornice. At the north-west end, there is a 19th-century addition with a splayed corner and a one-to-one window arrangement of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The roofs are covered with slate.
