Description

2 Bear Street is a late 18th century or early 19th century house that has been stuccoed and features a splayed and curved corner on Mill Street. The building is two storeys high, with two windows facing Bear Street and one window facing Mill Street. A raised band runs across the entire front of the house between the storeys. There are pilasters at both ends and one at the corner. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in shallow reveals. On the east end, facing Mill Street, there is a small former shop window from the 19th century. The house has two doorways, one of which has a heavy plain stucco surround topped with a cornice. The roof is covered with old tiles.
