Description
Fox Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates back to the 16th century, with a 19th-century wing and later alterations. It features a timber-framed structure that is rendered, along with a brick addition that is partly rendered and partly pebbledashed. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has red brick stacks. The building is arranged in an L-shape with a gabled addition adjoining a cross wing on the right side.
There is a half-glazed door leading into the hall range, which may indicate the location of the original cross passage, sheltered by a 20th-century timber porch. To the left of the door, there is a three-light 20th-century casement window, and above it, a two-light casement. The left side of the front is blank. On the right side, there are two gabled wings featuring 20th-century three-light casements. The stacks are positioned to the left of the central hall range and between the cross wings. The roofs are swept, and the added wing has a dentilled cornice on the right return and a hipped roof at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
