Description
The five-bay barn at Sulleys Manor Farm is a 17th-century structure with a roof that was reconstructed in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a red brick plinth and is weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn has a pair of double doors leading to the yard, and a former midstrey at the rear that has been partly rebuilt under a pent roof. Inside, the barn includes wall posts, some of which are jowled, and one bay retains arch braces to the tie-beam, while others have been replaced with knee braces. The walls are studded with a middle rail, and the end wall to the right has been partly reconstructed. The roof was machine-cut in the 20th century. This barn is included for its group value.
