Description
Windwhistle Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 16th century, with a 19th-century cross wing added to the south. The main range features slightly projecting matching cross wings on either side. The building is timber framed and plastered, with colourwashed brick on the 19th-century wing and the facade of the earlier wing, topped by a plaintiled roof. It has two storeys and an attic, with three windows on the main range, which include various casements. The central doorway is adorned with a 19th-century gabled porch and a three-centre arched boarded door. Each wing has one window range, with some blank panels and ornamental bargeboards. There are two internal stacks.
