Description

Scotchmers is an early 18th-century house. It is timber-framed with plaster walls, rendered to resemble ashlar, and has a pantiled roof. The house is two storeys high and has a symmetrical facade with a three-window arrangement. The windows are mullion and transom casements, with two and three lights respectively. A 6-panel raised and fielded door, with the upper two panels glazed, is set within a shouldered architrave, a frieze, and a triangular pediment. External stacks are present at each gable end.
