Description

Ingleside is a house dating from the late 16th century. It features a timber frame with roughcast render and a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, arranged in a two-cell plan. The front has three window openings with 20th-century casements, and there are two full-height square bays flanking the central doorway. The entrance includes a lobby with a gabled porch and a four-panel door, where the upper two panels are glazed. To the left of the main entrance is another doorway with a six-panel door, the upper four panels of which are also glazed. There is an internal stack, and a single-storey addition on the left side, along with mid-20th-century extensions to the rear. Some internal timbering can be seen, particularly on the first floor.
