Description
High Chimneys is a farmhouse that likely dates back to the late 16th century, featuring a 18th-century cross-wing at the rear and a 19th-century addition on the right. The building is constructed of brick and has old plain tile roofs, with a brick ridge stack on the right that has four octagonal flues. It is a single storey with an attic and has a two-window main range, along with a two-storey single bay addition to the right. There is a 20th-century door leading to a 20th-century porch at the center of the main range, and a single-light casement window to the left. The main range also includes two gabled full dormers, each with three-light casements. Inside, there is a massive open fireplace in the hall.
