Description

Bushwood Common Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, that likely dates from the late 16th century but was mostly encased in the 19th century. The building features 19th-century brickwork with small areas of timber-framing that have brick infill on the left and right returns. It has an old plain-tile roof and various brick stacks. The structure is two stories high and has a three-window range. There is a 20th-century door at the center, and the windows exhibit irregular fenestration with casements. The roof includes queen-post trusses in the left and right cross-gables. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have visible timber-framing.
