Description
The barn at Planet Farm is a 17th century structure that has been altered over time. It is built from brick and timber framing, with weatherboards and a thatched roof, featuring five separate sections. The barn has large doors on the second and fourth sections. The left side is primarily brick, while the third and fourth sections, along with the right side, are covered in weatherboards. The left side shows brick tumbling, and the right side has a 19th century timber frame but retains 17th century corner posts with jowl tops. Inside, the barn has a three-tier roof with upward curved wind braces in the second tier, along with ties and collars. The first section contains wall posts, and there are internal walls in the first section and partition walls between the second and third, as well as the fourth and fifth sections, constructed in English Bond. The farmhouse associated with the barn is not listed.
