Description
Ketteringham Well is a Grade II listed structure located on the Triangle. It features a square base made of Norfolk red brick, supporting an octagonal wellhouse above. The wellhouse is constructed of red brick and topped with a roof covered in clay tiles, which have cement batons at each change of angle, and a soffit underneath.
On the north side, there is a black iron handle used for raising water from the well. The east side has a painted timber door made of four planks, equipped with decorative hinges, which provides access to the internal mechanism. The doorframe consists of a painted timber surround that extends at intervals. The square base has broached molded brick corners, and the western face includes a blank space where a plaque would have been placed.
